Who are the major part of U.S. population in 1900 and 2000?

Questions:
1. Which age group has gained the most people from 1900? What might be the reason?
2. Which age group has the most sufficient gaining in percentage? What could cause this?
3. Look at two graphs on the bottom. Is there any difference that is noticeable to you?
4. From the perspective of government; Which constitution of population do you like better, why?

    1.) 0-20. These are younger people, they don't have to survive as long as say the 40 year-olds.
    2.) 2000 has the only increase and it happens in the 20-40 age group.
    3.) There are more females in 2000.
    4.) 20-40 because there is so many.
